Wed 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur German. Lehighton, celebrated their 60th wedding Anniversary on Oct.5th . The couple was married in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Weissport and resided in Somerville, N.J. for 44 Years. Mrs. German is the former Evelyn Deutsch of Weissport. They are the parents of two children. Dennis and his wife Marilyn, live in West Caldwell, N.J. Geraldine and her husband, Drue Portor, live in Bloomsburg. The German’s have five grandchildren: James German and Eileen Gornell both on N.J., WO2 Michael Maj and wife. Sgt. Christine, Fort Drum. N.Y., Patrick Maj, formerly a sergeant in the Army, now in the Marines, Jason Maj of N.J. who is discharged from the Army. All three grandsons and Michael's wife Christine, spent in Korea and Iraq. They have one great-grand-Daughter, Ariel.
