Religious Education

First Grade & New Student Registration

Registration forms are available in the vestibules of the Church for children entering the first grade this fall and children new to our parish program.

Religious education for grades 1-6 started Sept 19 at Squadron Line School.

Mailing for Grades 7-9 have been sent.

CYO Basketball

RCIA

(Rite of Christian Initiation Adults) Invites all those who wish to enter the Catholic Church and those baptized Catholics who wish to complete the sacraments of Eucharistic, and/or Confirmation to join us Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00, in the lower Church main meeting room.

Adult Education Series

SCEDULE CHANGE:The second presentation in the adult education series on "The Role of the Laity in Today's Catholic Church" has been changed to Nov. 10. Illinois Appellate Court Justice Anne M. Burke, Interim Chair of the National Review Board established by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops will discuss proposed changes to the Church structure as recommended by the National Review Board. The date for the third session remains Dec. 1, with noted author David Gibson. All are invited. Co-sponsored by the Farmington Valley Affiliate of Voice of the Faithful.

Recently Widowed, Seperated or Devorced

The support group for recently widowed of all ages, and separated and divorced meets every Wednesday at the Parish Conference Room, 3 Massaco St at 7:30 Pm. Any questions, please call Fran McEdwards at 658-1410.

Women's Retreat -:- POSTPONED -:-

A weekend retreat for the women of parish scheduled for Friday, September 24th to Sunday, September 26th has been postponed.

Watch for new dates in the spring for a Lenten Women's Retreat.

Free Rosary Repair Service

Rosary We have lots of parts. Leave your broken rosaries in the marked box at the Hopmeadow Street entrance. Repaired rosaries will be returned within the week. Also, donations of old and broken rosaries are accepted and sent to the missions.
